July Personal Chef Menus

Happy August!  Hope you’re having a great summer and squeezing every last enjoyable drop out of it as we inch our way into fall.

Because I wear a chef’s jacket to the grocery store when I shop for clients and everyone there knows what I do for a living, the question I am asked almost every single day is….. “What are you cooking today?”

So, each month I list everything I made for my clients [in the previous month] with links to recipes that are on From A Chef’s Kitchen and on the internet so you can make and enjoy them too.  Those without links are my own creations that you’ll probably see here someday, in cookbooks, or the recipe I actually make is very different from the one published on the web.

I’m also frequently asked about the menu development and menu selection process for my clients.  It varies from client to client.  Some of my clients choose their own menus while others want me to put it together.  Some want to approve it, others say, “Just show up with food.”  Some find recipes on the internet and request I make them.  I’m always more than happy to accommodate any reasonable client request!

You may see menu items repeated from month to month.  Some clients have struggled so much with food issues and allergies, they’re happy to repeat the same “safe” items over and over with only an occasional change.

Some want side dishes, others don’t.  Those who do not want sides are happy to have me prepare the main and they’ll handle the rest.  That’s the “personal” in personal chef.  We cook what people want to eat!

Here’s everything I cooked for clients in July–a lighter schedule this month with client vacations!  Ahhhh…….
