FROM A CHEF'S KITCHEN

Decadent Breakfast

Elevate your mornings with our Brioche French Toast recipe. Crafted from buttery brioche bread, it boasts a delightful melt-in-your-mouth texture and a hint of sweet vanilla.

 Ingredients

Brioche Bread, Half & Half, Eggs, Vanilla Extract, Butter, Honey, Maple Syrup, Powdered Sugar, Salt, Fresh Fruit

To get started, preheat your oven to 200 degrees. Then, set up a cooling rack on a rimmed sheet pan for the French toast later. Next, in a shallow dish, whisk together the eggs, half-and-half, honey, vanilla, and a pinch of salt until the honey dissolves.

Take two pieces of bread at a time, dip them into the egg mixture, and let them soak for 15 seconds on each side.

In a nonstick skillet or griddle, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium-low heat until it foams. Then, place the soaked brioche slices in the skillet and cook them for 2 to 3 minutes on the first side or until they turn golden brown.

Flip and cook on the other side for 2 to 3 minutes.

Repeat The Process

Transfer the cooked French toast to the prepared cooling rack/sheet pan and keep them warm in the oven. Afterward, use a paper towel to wipe the skillet, and then repeat the process with the remaining butter, brioche slices, and custard.

Enjoy your Brioche French Toast by serving it immediately with a topping of butter, fresh fruit, maple syrup, and powdered sugar!
