Delicious and Fun!

Give boring old dinners a fiesta-worthy makeover with these zesty Chicken Sloppy Joes overflowing with Southwestern flavor!

 Ingredients

Canola Oil, Poblanos, Onions, Garlic, Ground Chicken, Mexican Oregano, Chili Powder, Coriander, Cumin, Tomato Sauce, Chicken Broth, Brown Sugar, Cider Vinegar, Buns, Salt & Pepper

Countdown To Yum

Get your skillet hot over medium-high heat and add a drizzle of canola oil. Toss in the onions and poblanos, turn down the heat to medium, and sauté for 3-4 minutes until they start to soften up. Then mix in the garlic for just 10-15 seconds to release its fragrance.

Add the ground chicken and let it get cooked through.

Sprinkle in the chili powder, cumin, coriander and oregano, and stir it all up so the spices can spread their flavor evenly throughout the chicken.

Pour in the chicken broth, tomato sauce, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce. Let it come to a boil, then dial it down to low and let the mixture bubble away, uncovered, for 15-20 minutes until thick and saucy. Finally, add salt and pepper until you achieve maximum flavor.

Pile the chicken mixture onto buns and customize to your heart's desire with cheese, jalapeño slices, corn chips - go crazy!

Ditch the beef and get ready for some seriously saucy, Southwestern-style sandwiches with Chicken Sloppy Joes!
