An Elegant Side For The Holidays

Creamy Mashed Turnips—a dish where the rustic charm of turnips meets a creamy, garlic and rosemary infusion for an upscale twist.

 Ingredients

Turnips, Russet Potatoes, Garlic, Rosemary, Heavy Cream, Chicken Broth, Butter, Salt & Pepper

Get Ready to MASH

Preheat to 400 degrees. Lay out your halved Brussels sprouts on a nonstick baking sheet or line it with nonstick aluminum foil. Drizzle with oil, toss to coat, and season with a pinch of salt and a dash of black pepper.

Cover the turnips and potatoes with chicken broth, bring to a boil, and simmer for 15-20 minutes until tender. Remember to remove the rosemary halfway through, then drain and reserve the liquid for future use.

Return the pot to the still-warm burner to let any remaining moisture evaporate. Then pour in the cream

Mash it up to your heart's content for that rustic feel or blend until creamy for elegance on a plate. Season with salt and pepper and serve!

Creamy Mashed Turnips, a dish where rustic meets refined, and every spoonful is a bold statement of flavor and comfort.
