Italian-Stuffed Artichokes

These hearty Italian-Stuffed Artichokes have everything you love about Italian food! Full of toasty breadcrumbs, sausage, garlic, cheese, and seasonings.

Cook Sausage

Cook breadcrumbs in olive oil until lightly toasted.  Remove from skillet and cook onions until softened. Add sausage, garlic and seasoning. 

Add the sausage to the breadcrumbs. Add Parmesan when it's cooled down. Refrigerate.


Prepare Artichokes

Add lemon juice to a bowl of water. Trim the artichokes and immerse in the water. Cover with plastic. Microwave on HIGH for 12 minutes.

Scoop out the fuzzy "choke", and stuff each artichoke with the sausage filling.

Stuff Artichokes


Pour white wine into the baking dish (optional). Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 45-50 minutes.

Serve with marinara sauce for dipping if desired. ENJOY!
