Easy 30 Minute Stir Fry

Skip takeout and make an easy, fresh Thai Basil Beef stir-fry in just 30 minutes! This quick recipe has the perfect amount of spice, loads of crunchy veggies, and a bold, craveworthy sauce.

 Ingredients

Canola Oil, Ground Beef, Onion, Soy Sauce, Garlic, Fish Sauce, Lime Juice, Sriracha, Brown Sugar, Carrots, Snow Peas, Water, Fresno Chiles, Scallions, and Basil

Let's Get Started!

Combine the soy sauce, lime juice, water or broth, fish sauce, Sriracha, and brown sugar in a small bowl. Set aside.

Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the onion, reduce heat to medium, and cook for 3 to 4 minutes or until beginning to soften.

Turn the heat back up to medium-high, crumble the ground beef and stir in the onions. The beef should be slightly crisped on the bottom.

Add the garlic and Fresno chiles and cook briefly for 25 to 30 seconds. Drain off any excess fat in the skillet.

Add the soy sauce combination and bring to a boil, then add the carrots and snow pea pods, and cook, stirring often, for 2 to 3 minutes or until the vegetables are crisp-tender and the pea pods are bright green.

Finish Strong

Remove from the heat, stir in the basil just until wilted, then spoon over cooked brown rice, garnish with remaining scallions and serve with lime wedges on the side.

Recreate the flavors of Thailand in 30 minutes flat with this easy Thai Basil Beef - a tasty homemade alternative to takeout.
